We are pleased to invite you to the IPWG 2027 meeting which will take place in Sardinia, Italy, from September 26 to October 1, 2027.
This will be a landmark event as it will celebrate two milestone anniversaries: the 20th anniversary of our working group (founded in 2007) and the 60th anniversary of the discovery of phytoplasmas (1967).

In this special year we look forward to welcoming both long-standing members and new colleagues interested in the study of these unique insect transmitted plant pathogenic bacteria. As climate change and global challenges are placing increasing pressure on agriculture, threats to food availability and security are growing, making our shared research and collaboration more important than ever.
